Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 June 2026
1. Who we are
Ordered is a software service operated in the United Kingdom that lets restaurants take at-table orders and payments through a guest-facing web app. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Ordered. "You" refers to the restaurant or venue that creates an account.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or over and authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for the actions of anyone you give access to.
3. The service
We provide menu hosting, table QR ordering, kitchen tickets, reporting, and receipt generation. Payments are processed by Stripe under a Stripe Connect account that you own; we never hold your customer funds. Service availability is best-effort — we do not commit to a specific uptime figure.
4. Fees
Subscription and per-order fees are shown on our pricing page. We may change pricing on 30 days' notice. Stripe charges its own fees directly to your Stripe account.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of your menus, photos, branding, and customer records. You grant us a licence to host and display them only so far as needed to operate the service for you.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Ordered to sell anything that's illegal in the UK, to spam customers, or to attempt to compromise our systems. We can suspend accounts that breach this clause.
7. VAT and tax
Where your venue is VAT-registered, the VAT amounts shown on guest receipts and in your back-office reports are calculated from the tax rate and VAT number you enter in Settings. You are responsible for the accuracy of those settings and for filing your own returns.
8. Termination
You can cancel at any time from your billing portal. We can terminate for material breach with written notice. On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period. We're not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
